Welcome to the fourth issue of our interview series, Spotlight, where we will feature stories from inspiring women from all walks of life. With Spotlight, our aim is to share experiences, advice, and encourage women the world over to pursue their dreams with passion and dedication.
Suyi Pang is a restaurateur and business woman. She recently launched Japanese fusion restaurant, Mio Fine Foods at 82 Neil Road. This is Suyi’s second food venture, with her first being Bao Makers. Suyi has a keen eye for design and aesthetics. Couple this with her love for good food and you essentially get artful masterpieces during your dining experience. I especially loved the Truffle Tamago Sando, which was a true feast for the senses.
Suyi has a background in business and decided to merge this with her love for great food in an artistically expressive manner. The restaurant has a beautifully Zen aesthetic, which adds to the culinary experience Suyi intends to create for her customer. She notes the importance of focusing on the details when creating customer experiences. This is something we at Wolf and Byrd innately relate to.
